No Home is Complete Without Modern Closet Doors

If you are planning on selling your home in the near future, keep in mind that whenever someone is browsing homes to buy, most potential customers glance around to see how much closet space is available first. Whether in the hall, kitchen pantry, bedrooms, bathroom or living room, modern closet doors are a must have. So, if renovations are on your list before putting your house on the market such as, painting, new windows, carpet, and other touch ups, it may be wise to add closet doors to your list. Houses without a space to store items out of sight, seem empty and cold, but give them a colorful door, and suddenly they become a warm, inviting place. Most of us own more things than we have room for, such as the Christmas tree and decorations, Halloween displays, golf clubs, brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, umbrellas, coats, rain boots, and the list goes on and on. No longer do we live in small homes which have beds that come out from the wall, nor drop down ironing boards in the kitchen cabinet.

In the living room, dark walnut, modern doors look sophisticated, attractive, and are a breeze to keep clean. All that's needed are a dust cloth and some lemon oil. Rub it on, wipe it off and the doors not only look and smell great, the wood is being preserved for future generations to enjoy. In the bedroom, sliding double doors with mirrors will make a small bedroom appear twice its size. Of course with mirrored doors, smudges are much more apparent, but a quick spray with diluted vinegar and a lint free cloth will bring out their shine again and disinfect them as well. In larger bedrooms, which are meant to be shared by more than one child, decorative fabric doors which separate the room, will look spectacular. You can even make the door age appropriate by decorating it in the latest popular children's movie theme. Clean these with a spray on, wipe off foam cleaner for best results.
